Charlie is the only son of the Zha family and sole heir of the NOVATEN Pharmaceutical Group, one of the world's four largest business conglomerates. Due to his distinguished family background, he is known as one of the most eligible bachelors and frequently appears in the news.

Charlie has a great deal of self-confidence, believing that there is no one he has met who he has not impressed. He is extremely narcisstic, and can get intoxicated looking at himself in the mirror as he thinks of himself as a "perfect person".
His words and deeds may seem incomprehensible yet reasonable at the same time to others. In fact, he is quite straightforward and pure, and will unwittingly act childish or immature to get the attention of the person he likes. While he may make small mistakes occasionally, he has a habit of covering it up to maintain a perfect image in front of the MC.
Charlie has a philanthropic side to him; he has been a volunteer doctor for at least one country in crisis. He also offered to organize a charity event for the MC's birthday in lieu of a present.
